NYC Small Business Services is offering a lifeline for many of the city’s businesses hit hard by COVID-19:

  1. NYC Employee Retention Grant Program, for small businesses with fewer than 5 employees a grant to cover 40% of payroll costs for two months to help retain employees. To be eligible, businesses — including nonprofits — must be able to affirm that they are: located within the 5 boroughs of New York City; able to demonstrate that the Pandemic has cause a minimum 25% decrease in revenue, and have no outstanding tax liens or legal judgments.   2. NYC Small Business Continuity Loan Fund, for small businesses with fewer than 100 employees who have seen sales decreases of 25% or more. You can be eligible to apply for zero interest loans of up to $75,000 to help ensure business continuity. Go to https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ZL5N8XL to pre-qualify.
  3. U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program. Small business owners in New York are currently eligible to apply for a low-interest loan due to COVIND-19 through the United States Small Business Administration.
